Navneet Arora
Head of Global Quantitative Strategies
Navneet Arora became part of StateFunds in 2013 as a senior quant researcher, shortly after the establishment of the Global Quantitative Strategies division. By 2019, he stepped into the role of Head of GQS, where he expanded its scope through strategic hiring and a strong focus on interdisciplinary teamwork. He also contributes as a member of the StateFunds Portfolio Committee.
Before joining StateFunds, Navneet held influential roles including Director of Quantitative Research at American Century Investments, Managing Director and Global Lead for Model-Based Credit Research at BlackRock, and Head of Global Credit Research at Barclays Global Investors.
His academic contributions have appeared in leading journals such as the *Journal of Financial Economics*, *Review of Accounting Studies*, *Journal of Investment Management*, and *Energy Risk*.
Navneet holds a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, a postgraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Management Kolkata, and earned his PhD in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
